Hi, I'm John Pharr III.
I'm a 41-year-old photographer based in Alaska with 16 years of experience capturing weddings, portraits, and commercial work — specializing in on-location photography. As a veteran, I embedded with Pararescue on high-stakes missions internationally — camera in hand — and that experience shaped the way I work: calm under pressure, present in the moment, never missing the shot.
My work has been published by Time Magazine, Shutter Magazine, Helicopter Magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle, Air Force Magazine, Armed Forces Network, and many other international publications. That same eye for the decisive moment is what I bring to your wedding day.
